Transmission of COVID-19 is unknown in Nepal. The level of transmission is based on global health and disease data from John Hopkins University, updated in March 2023.

Travelers who present a valid certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 are exempt from pre-departure testing and testing upon arrival.
The last dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to departure.

Unvaccinated travelers must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the previous 72 hours upon arrival. RT-PCR, True NAAT and Gene Xpert tests are acceptable.

All passengers are subject to health checks upon arrival, such as temperature checks and visual assessment. Additional health tests may be required for those with symptoms of COVID-19.
