e-Visa Mongolia

Tourism / Events / Transit

" * " indicates required fields

Step 1 of 6 - Reason

Mongolia requires an e-Visa to travel to its territory for transit or tourism or to participate in a cultural / sports event. The country's representations no longer issue these documents for these reasons. Everything is done entirely online, you don't have to send anything by mail and you don't have to go to the consulate or embassy. The "e-Visa" can be requested on this form. The photocopy of the passport and the passport photo must be sent once the form is completed. The agreement is materialized by the receipt of a travel authorization in electronic form (PDF) that should be printed in color and presented upon arrival in Mongolia. You must be out of the country at the time of application and not have applied for a Mongolian visa recently.

Reason for stay Authorized duration Number of entries Consular fees Service Fees Total incl. VAT
Tourism
Cultural/sporting event
30 days 1 $54 $37 $91
Transit 10 days 1 $27 $32 $59

The e-Visa is valid for tourist travel (30 days maximum) or for transit (10 days maximum) with one entry permit. You can extend it on the spot by approaching the local authorities with a short internet procedure. Travelers must have a passport valid for at least 6 months on the date of arrival in Mongolia. Once issued, you must enter Laos with the authorization within 150 days. The validity period of the visa will then start from your arrival in the country, not from the issue of the permit. We advise you to apply at least 5 days before your arrival in Mongolia.
